1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee.
1.2 Apologies were received from Alun Davies MS and Tom Giffard MS, with Joel James MS substituting for Tom Giffard MS.
2.1 The Committee heard evidence from Baroness Bull.
2.2 Apologies were received from Kevin Brennan MP.
3.1 The papers were noted.
3.2 The Committee agreed to write to the Arts Council of Wales and National Theatre Wales regarding the Investment Review.
3.3 The Committee agreed to write to the Deputy Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism regarding the impact of budget reductions on arms-length bodies.
3.4 The Committee also agreed to write to the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology regarding the National Underground Asset Register.
4.1 The Motion was agreed.
5.1 The Committee considered the evidence received.
6.1 The Committee considered the key issues and agreed to bring them back to the next meeting scheduled for 28 February 2024.
7.1 The Committee considered and agreed the Report as drafted.
8.1 The Committee considered and agreed the forward work programme for spring 2024.
9.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives of Wales Arts International; UK Music; and British Council Wales.
9.2 The Committee agreed to write to UK Music to request additional information relating to the session.
10.1 The Committee considered the evidence received.
